Brancaster Sailing Club Mode Construction were contracted to demolish the existing clubhouse, and construct a new facility sitting seamlessly within the Staithe’s natural surrounding. The new structure combined practicality & function with stunning architectural features, and was awarded a President’s Commendation at the Design & Craftsmanship Award 2017. The construction consisted of over 40 piles, supporting a concrete and steel frame, which was cloaked with curved glulam beams siting a sedum roof.
